Google Cloud Asia Pacific Vice President of Customer Engineering Moe Abdula revealed two human capabilities that will never be replaced by new technology, including artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Moe, a number of basic human abilities have never been replaced despite going through various waves of technological development and are expected to remain relevant in the AI era.
"I think there are human skills that will endure, and they've weathered all the technological shifts of the past. Our ability to empathize and connect is a very human thing," Moe said in an interview after a media briefing held by Google Cloud.
He explained that the ability to understand emotions, feel the conditions of others, and provide appropriate responses in social interactions are aspects that are difficult to replace with technology.
