Haddan's silver medal in Italy is proof that speed regeneration is working well

 

  The national speed climbing team coach, Galar Pandu Asmoro, believes Haddan Malik Baqmuhyibar's silver medal at the 2026 Arco World Climbing Youth Championship in Italy is proof that the regeneration process is progressing positively.

According to him, the achievement in the world-class youth tournament  proved that Indonesia is always a strong contender in the fight for gold medals.

"Haddan's achievement is something to be grateful for. It's something we should all appreciate, as it's the first time Indonesia has reached the podium at the World Youth Games, winning a silver medal," Galar.

Haddan became the runner-up in the U19 men's speed after losing to China's representative, Yanze Shi in the final.

He clocked 6.21 seconds, while Yanze clocked 6.07 seconds in the youth world championships.

According to Galar, Haddan's performance met the coaching team's targets because he was able to maintain a time record close to his best ability during training at the national training center in Bekasi City, West Java.
