In the first Gemini Report: Southeast Asia 2026 report conducted online by Google on Tuesday, Indonesia is the most creative country in utilizing Gemini-based artificial intelligence ( AI ) in Southeast Asia, by producing almost nine million images every day.
The report reviews the adoption and usage patterns of the Gemini app in the six countries with the largest user bases in the region: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
"In Indonesia, one in every three prompts is purely creative. Indonesians produce nine million custom images every day to bring their ideas to life, the highest number in the region," said Google's Vice President, Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier, Sapna Chadha.
