The Indonesian government has expressed its desire to strengthen its digital partnership with the Swiss government.
At the Sin Indonesian Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid stated that Indonesia's bilateral relations with Switzerland have been established for more than seven decades and encompass cooperation in development, trade, investment, law, and digital transformation.
"We are very open to exploring various innovation opportunities in the digital sector to broaden the horizons of bilateral cooperation. I am fully confident that the synergy between Indonesia and Switzerland will grow even stronger," he said in a ministry press statement confirmed.
He said that Switzerland is a valuable partner for Indonesia in regular political dialogue and the Joint Economic and Trade Committee.
"Beyond inter-governmental initiatives, our relationship is also enriched by the close bonds between people," said Meutya.
