Israeli occupation forces demolished three homes in the West Bank on Tuesday, bringing the total number of demolitions to 13 Palestinian homes in 24 hours.
The Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) reported that “the occupation forces demolished two houses in the village of Deir Razeh, southwest of Dura town, southwest of Hebron, each with an area of about 120 square meters,” noting that “the occupation bulldozers began the demolition process, without allowing the citizens to remove their belongings from the two targeted houses.”
It reported that “the occupation forces demolished a house in the village of Shuqba, west of Ramallah,” noting that “with the demolition of the three houses today, the total number of demolitions carried out by the Israeli occupation forces since Monday morning has risen to more than 13 houses and three facilities in the governorates of Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jenin.”
On the other hand, on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the headquarters of “Al-Huda for the Holy Quran” radio station in the city of Qalqilya in the northern occupied West Bank , closed it down, and confiscated its contents.
Local sources reported that a large Israeli military force, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the city of Qalqilya before raiding the radio station headquarters.
The sources added that Israeli forces closed the radio station headquarters and confiscated equipment and contents of the building, without clarifying the nature of the materials seized or the duration of the closure.
The occupation army posted a notice at the entrance of the radio station, which stated: “This union has been declared an illegal entity and closed due to its involvement in and support for terrorism.”
The Israeli army arrested at least 14 Palestinians, including a woman, in a large-scale raid campaign that included several governorates in the northern West Bank early Tuesday morning.
Local sources reported that Israeli special forces stormed the Ras al-Ain neighborhood in the city of Nablus, raided three buildings, before deploying military reinforcements through the al-Tur checkpoint.
The sources added that the forces raided and searched a number of homes in different neighborhoods of the city, and arrested 8 Palestinians, including a woman.
In the Tubas Governorate, Israeli army forces stormed the town of Tammun, before withdrawing from it several hours later, without reporting any arrests, according to sources.
In Jenin Governorate, sources said that Israeli forces stormed the town of Yamoun and arrested a released prisoner from Jenin city, and another from the town of Deir Ghazaleh, northeast of the governorate.
In the Tulkarm Governorate, the forces arrested a Palestinian military officer in the Customs Police, a young man from the suburb of Artaah south of the city, in addition to two young men from the village of Far'un, after raiding and searching a number of houses, according to the sources.
