Two Indonesian boxers, Joshua Toni Marties Lahin and Pangeran Februzio Lani, have secured their place in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Asian U19 and U23 Boxing Championships.
Joshua and Pangeran managed to defeat their opponents in the preliminary round of the 2026 Asian U19 and U23 Boxing Championships at the GBK Basketball Hall, according to Asian Boxing records.
Fighting in the Men's Light Weight (60kg) U19 class, Joshua was able to defeat Saudi Arabian boxer Nawaf Ghazwani after winning on points 5-0 (30:27, 30:26, 30:26, 30:27, 30:27).
Next, in the quarter-finals, Joshua will be waiting for Singaporean boxer Dani Izacc Muhammad Faiz at the GBK Basketball Hall.
Meanwhile, Prince Februzio Lani was able to advance to the quarter-finals after defeating the Jordanian boxer after winning the points 5-0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27).
Entering the quarter-finals of the Men's Bantam Weight (55kg) U19 class, Pangeran will face Kazakhstan boxer Elyor Rustamov at the GBK Basketball Hall, Jakarta, Saturday (11/7) afternoon.

The 2026 Asian U19 and U23 Boxing Championships are expected to be highly competitive. More than 400 boxers from 26 Asian countries are scheduled to participate and compete in various weight classes.
