Indonesian national boxing team male boxers Joshua Toni Marties Lahin and Viktor Wengkang successfully overcame their opponents to advance to the semifinals of the Asian Boxing U19 and U23 at the Basket Hall, Senayan.
Jsohua, who dropped down to the men's lightweight class won a landslide victory over Singaporean representative Dani Izacc Muhammad Faiz in a three-round fight officiated by Cuban referee Ferrales Ponce Juan Manuel.
After dominating the fight, the five judges had Joshua in the lead with scores of 30-26, 30-27, 30-27, 30-26, and 30-27.
In another match, Viktor Wengkang, who competed in the men's welterweight class (65kg), also managed to overcome Taipei representative Po-Yen Chen with a unanimous points victory.
After overcoming fierce resistance in a match officiated by Slovakian referee Radoslav Simon, Viktor received a score of 30-27 from four judges and one judge gave it a score of 30-26.
