According to him, the presence of participants, officials, athletes' families, and spectators during the tournament also stimulated economic activity in the community, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises , the hotel sector, and service providers around the match location.
"We appreciate the Bakti Djarum Foundation and Hydroplus for organizing this event. We hope that events like this can continue to be held on an ongoing basis," Sam'ani said after attending the closing ceremony.
He explained that these various benefits have strengthened Kudus' image as a host for national and even international sporting events.
Because, in August, at the same location, the 2026 Srikandi Merdeka Cup will be held, featuring U16 women's soccer teams from seven countries, namely Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia, which is the host.
