Portuguese national football legend Luis Figo is enthusiastic about participating in the 2026 HGI Football Festival, an HGI initiative program supported by the National Indonesian Sports Community which is taking place at fX Sudirman.
"I can see the incredible warm welcome and passion the people here have for football. I'm very happy and very honored to experience that," Luis Figo said at a press conference.
Having received a warm welcome from fans, Figo wants to vacation in Indonesia in the future and explore his homeland further.
Figo's presence at the 2026 HGI Football Festival was warmly welcomed by HGI Ray, who believes that a figure like this Portuguese national team legend is greatly needed in the future.
"Luís Figo, as we know, is a football legend. But how he honed his tactics and made decisions mid-match is something that can be very inspiring for mental sports enthusiasts," said Ray.
