Ducati Lenovo rider Marc Marquez is not ready to rest on his laurels after sweeping pole positions and sprint victories for the German MotoGP at the Sachsenring Circuit on Saturday, as he believes Alex Marquez remains a serious threat in the main race.
Marc was dominant throughout Saturday. After claiming pole position with a record lap of 1 minute, 19.041 seconds, the rider nicknamed the King of Sachsenring continued his performance by winning the 15-lap sprint race.
"Alex will be strong tomorrow, at least he's my little brother," Marc said in a post-sprint interview broadcast on the official MotoGP website.
This statement was inseparable from the pressure Alex exerted throughout the sprint. The BK8 Gresini rider kept Marc in his wake from the start of the race, but ultimately had to settle for second place by 0.368 seconds.
