Egyptian actor Mohamed Henedy commented on Argentina's victory and their reaching the final round of the 2026 World Cup after defeating the English national team by two goals to one.
Henedy posted a picture of the Argentine national team star, Lionel Messi, in a post on his X platform page (formerly Twitter), commenting: "My son, you are not the target of any curses, gloating, envy, or evil eye... There is no solution but for us to support you."
England's only goal came from Anthony Gordon in the 55th minute, while Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez scored Argentina's two goals in the 86th and 92nd minutes, respectively.
With this result, Argentina qualified for the final, while the "Three Lions" will play the third-place match against France.
