Newcastle United has officially announced the signing of young Ivorian winger Bazoumana Toure from TSG Hoffenheim on a long-term contract.

"Newcastle are delighted to announce the transfer of talented player Bazoumana Toure from Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim," the English club said in a statement on their website on Monday WIB.

Although the transfer fee was not disclosed, British media reported that Newcastle had to pay 43 million pounds sterling (approximately Rp. 1.03 trillion) for the 20-year-old player.

After being officially introduced, Toure admitted that he was very enthusiastic about realizing his dream of playing in the Premier League with Newcastle.

"I'm really, really happy to be here. Since I was a kid, my dream has been to play in the Premier League for a big club like Newcastle," said Toure.

According to him, Newcastle has a family-like atmosphere and that will help him show his best abilities on the pitch.

"I'm really excited to be joining Newcastle and can't wait to meet my teammates, the fans and everyone at the club. I'm also looking forward to playing for the first time at St. James' Park," he continued.
