The Chairman of the Indonesian Amateur Boxing Association (PERBATI), Ray Zulham, expressed his appreciation for the achievements of two Indonesian female boxers, Anggie Intania Chalik and Dira Artika, who advanced to the finals of the 2026 U19 and U23 Asian Boxing Championships.
"Anggie and Dira's success is the result of the hard work of the athletes, coaches, and the entire coaching team. This motivates us to continue strengthening our sustainable coaching system so that Indonesia becomes more competitive in Asia and globally," Ray said in a press release.
According to him, PERBATI is determined to build a long-term foundation of achievement so that more Indonesian boxers can bring honor to the nation on the international stage.
Anggie appeared in the lightweight class, while Dira competed in the featherweight class.
