Persis Solo announces coaching staff for the 2026/2027 season

Pegadaian Championship club Persis Solo has announced its coaching staff for the 2026/2027 season, having previously appointed Ricky Nelson as head coach.

Quoted from the club's official website, Wednesday, Persis Solo appointed Nucholis Majid and Febi Aji as assistant coaches, while the goalkeeping coach position was entrusted to Hendro Kartiko.

Having the opportunity to become an assistant coach for Persis Solo, Nurcholis expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given by management.

Nurcholis admitted that he was very happy to be part of Persis Solo again and was ready to help the club's ambition to return to the top tier of the BRI Super League.

"We will strive to restore Persis Solo's glory days. Hopefully, it will only be one season in League 2, and next year we can be promoted to League 1," Nurcholis emphasized.

Echoing Nurcholis, Febi Aji is also looking forward to helping Persis Solo return to League 1. He believes that teamwork and hard work will be key to achieving their goal of promotion to the Premier League.

"Hopefully, I can work hard for this team so they can return to League 1. We, the coaching staff, will do our best to achieve that," said Febi.

Meanwhile, Hendro Kartiko expressed his enthusiasm for joining Laskar Sambernyawa. He noted that Persis Solo is an Indonesian football club with a long history.

"I feel proud, because Persis is also a legendary club in Indonesia. So it's an honor to be able to join Persis Solo," said Hendro.

These three new assistant coaches are expected to work together with head coach Ricky Nelson to bring Persis Solo back to the top flight.
