PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Office for North Sumatra has optimized fuel distribution in Medan City and its surrounding areas, making service at a number of gas stations smoother, so that vehicle queues are starting to return to normal.
Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, said that his party continues to strengthen the entire energy supply chain to ensure that the community's needs are met.
"Queues at several gas stations are starting to return to normal as a result of the various efforts we have made with all stakeholders to accelerate distribution. We will continue to optimize operations until services to the public are fully restored," Fahrougi said in a statement received.
In an effort to accelerate distribution recovery, the company operates the Integrated Terminal Medan Group 24 hours a day, increases the fleet of tanker trucks through a spot charter scheme , strengthens the Tanker Truck Crew personnel, and optimizes supplies from the Kisaran Fuel Terminal, Siantar Fuel Terminal, and Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal.
This step is strengthened through synergy with BPH Migas, the Indonesian National Armed Forces , the Indonesian National Police , local governments, Hiswana Migas, gas station operators, and transportation partners so that fuel distribution can take place more quickly and effectively.
