Indonesian boxer Pangeran Lani is determined to make his mark on the international stage when he competes in the 2026 Asian Boxing U19 and U23 Championships.
"My physical condition is now prime after being trained at the national training center. My weight is also perfect. Therefore, I am determined to achieve success at this year's Asian Boxing Championships," Pangeran said in an official statement from the Indonesian Boxing Association .
In the championship attended by more than 400 athletes from 26 countries in Asia, Indonesia sent 19 male and female boxers consisting of 10 boxers in the U19 category and nine boxers in the U23 category.
Pangeran, who will compete in the 55 kg U19 Men's class, confirmed that his physical and mental condition is ready to face the prestigious championship which is being held for the first time in Indonesia.
The boxer from Bali said he had undergone intensive training preparations, including some training camps in Vietnam.
The training process was also guided directly by Thai coach Kamanit Nareerak, who is a former coach of the Thai boxing team for the Olympics.
