Indonesian male rock climber Tri Ramadani has advanced to the semifinals of the men's lead event at the 2026 World Climbing Series Chamonix in France after finishing in the top 24 in the qualifying round on Saturday.
Putra, who is familiarly known as Srondeng, was ranked 12th in the qualifying round with a score of 13.32, as quoted from the organizing body World Climbing.
The men's lead qualifying round was led by Austrian climber Jakob Schubert with a score of 1.58, followed by Spain's Alberto GinesLopez with 3.54.
Meanwhile, another Indonesian representative, Raviandi Ramadhan, failed to advance to the semifinals after finishing in 33rd place with a score of 29.52.
A similar thing also happened to Indonesia's representative in the women's sector, Tsany Alma Ariella, who was stopped in the qualifying round after finishing in 49th place with a score of 48.64.
Srondeng's success in maintaining Indonesia's chances at the Chamonix series continues the positive trend of disciplined leads throughout the 2026 season.
