Young Indonesian racer Qarrar Firhand made history by winning the 2026 WSK Euro Series OK category after completing the final round at the Cremona Circuit, Italy, on Saturday.

The Ward Racing driver secured the title after finishing second in the final race and posting the fastest lap with a time of 47.600 seconds.

"I'm very proud to conclude my karting career with the WSK Euro Series title. The final race was incredibly close, and I enjoyed the incredible battle throughout," Qarrar said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.

Qarrar started the final race by taking pole position in qualifying after recording a time of 47.900 seconds.

He then won all the heat races and the pre-final race to secure the title before the final race began.

In the final race, Qarrar, who started from pole position, led from the first lap. However, British driver Henri Domain took over the lead with a chicane maneuver on the second lap.

Qarrar continued to apply pressure to the finish line, but had to settle for second place, 0.366 seconds behind Domain.
