Indonesian speed climber Raharjati Nursamsa won a bronze medal in the men's individual speed event at the 2026 World Climbing Series Krakow in Poland on Saturday.
"That's right, besides Desak who won gold in the women's individual event, Raharjati also won a medal for third place or bronze," said Assistant Coach of the Indonesian National Speed Climbing Team, Fitriyani, when contacted by ANTARA from Jakarta, while accompanying the team.
According to the world climbing page, Raharjati recorded a time of 4.79 seconds in the final round with a 4 lane format followed by four participants.
In that round, he competed against three other athletes, namely Samuel Watson (United States), and the duo from China, Yicheng Zhao and Shouhong Chu.
Watson took first place, or the gold medal, with a time of 4.6 seconds. Zhao won silver with a time of 4.69 seconds.
