Indonesian tennis player Muhammad Rifqi Fitriadi won two titles at the fourth week of the ITF M15 Wuning tournament in China, winning both the singles and doubles events.
Rifqi secured the singles title after defeating third seed Hoyoung Roh from South Korea with a score of 6-4, 6-3 in the final match which took place on Sunday.
The second seed was consistent throughout the match. After securing the opening set 6-4, Rifqi continued to pressure Roh in the second set, closing out the match with a 6-3 victory to clinch the title.
The day before, Rifqi had already won the doubles trophy with Armenian tennis player Daniil Sarksian.
The top seeded pair had to go through a tight match before defeating the fourth seeded pair from Taiwan, Hsieh Cheng-Peng/Lai Chuan-Kai with a score of 6-7(7), 7-6(5), 12-10.
Rifqi/Sarksian lost the first set in a tense tie-break . However, they rallied by winning the second set tie-break to force a super tie-break , before ultimately securing a 12-10 victory and securing the title.
