Press reports have confirmed that Mohamed Salah, the captain of the Egyptian national team, has reached an agreement with Turkish club Besiktas to join them during the current summer transfer window in a free transfer deal.
According to what sports journalist Nicola Schira stated on his account on the "X" platform, a preliminary agreement has been reached to sign a contract that extends until the summer of 2027, under which Salah will receive an annual salary of 12 million euros, with a clause that gives both parties the option to extend the contract until the summer of 2028.
Shira indicated that the Besiktas management is very optimistic about completing the deal in the next few days, as the team's coach, Vincenzo Italiano, continues to push for the signing of the Egyptian national team captain.
He added that Besiktas management is currently working on finalizing the details before the official announcement of the deal, with expectations that it will be completed in the coming days.
