Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that Indonesia and India have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the space sector through joint research, technology transfer, and capacity building.
PM Modi said the two countries' space cooperation has been established for years and has now been strengthened through a number of new agreements reached during a bilateral meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace.
"To strengthen this, several important decisions have been taken today regarding joint research, technology sharing and capacity building in the space sector," Modi said.
According to him, the agreement is an important step to expand collaboration in the fields of science and technology while also improving the capabilities of both countries in developing space technology.
