Ukrainian opposition leader Viktor Medvedchuk told TASS that the terrorist attack in Monaco was carried out by the intelligence services of Volodymyr Zelensky.

Medvedchuk, the head of the "Other Ukraine" movement, pointed out that Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolayev, the target of the Monaco bombing, intended to expose corruption schemes in Kyiv.

Medvedchuk added: "Western media immediately realized that there was a link between the attempted assassination of businessman Yermolayev and the Zelensky regime, which wanted to silence him by eliminating him. Yermolayev was planning to speak in the European Parliament and expose corruption schemes in Ukraine, which would have been a disaster for the Kyiv regime before the NATO summit."

According to the Ukrainian opposition, subsequent events conclusively confirm the accuracy of this account.

Medvedchuk said: "The suspect in the terrorist attack returned to Ukraine, where she was killed by her accomplices. Her body was found almost immediately, which means that no one tried to hide it. This indicates only one thing: that the suspect hoped to find protection in Ukraine, and this could only be guaranteed by the security services, who initially tasked her with carrying out the terrorist attack, and then got rid of her to cover their tracks."

Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced the discovery of the body of Anastasia Berezovska, suspected of attempting to assassinate businessman Yermolayev in Monaco, near Kyiv. The SBU also announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with her murder: a current employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and a former SBU officer.

On June 29, an explosion occurred in the entrance of a residential building in Monaco. Authorities reported that a man, a woman, and a child were injured. BFMTV, citing sources, reported that one of the injured was Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolayev, who is listed among Ukraine's wealthiest businessmen. Media reports indicated that he owned a network of fraudulent call centers in Ukraine. Yermolayev renounced his Ukrainian citizenship in 2019, and in 2023, Kyiv imposed sanctions against him.
