The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo is scheduled to be held in Nanning, capital of southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from September 17 to 21, with preparations now in their final stages. Data shows that 40 Indonesian companies are among the first wave of companies that have confirmed their participation.
A diverse and high-value product range will be showcased across the ASEAN zone. In addition to traditional consumer goods, participating countries will also showcase cutting-edge products in artificial intelligence (AI), green energy, and other high-tech fields.
This year's expo features an upgraded ASEAN exhibition zone covering approximately 20,000 square meters, along with comprehensive upgrades in the exhibition's product structure, the scale of participating countries, and the level of industrial cooperation, showcasing new achievements in China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation, according to the expo's secretariat.
Timor-Leste will make its debut in the expo's commodity pavilion as an official ASEAN member country, further strengthening its integration into the ASEAN community.
As a themed country, the Philippines has 44 registered companies spanning the food, household goods, personal care, tourism, and financial services sectors. Notably, a Philippine AI startup will debut at the expo, highlighting the expo's AI-focused features.
The upcoming expo will further enhance the quality of services, connect high-quality ASEAN products with China's huge consumer market, and continue to inject new impetus into regional trade and economic prosperity, the organizers said.
