The Corruption Eradication Commission is investigating the share ownership of the family of former Kutai Kartanegara Regent Rita Widyasari in PT Alamjaya Bara Pratama in an investigation into an alleged gratification case related to coal production.
"In examining witness SLA, investigators are looking into the share ownership of suspect RW's family in PT AJB," said Budi.
Apart from the SLA, the Corruption Eradication Commission also examined two private parties with the initials ELK and KMJ as witnesses in the case
According to Budi, investigators asked ELK for information regarding the alleged receipt of funds based on metric tons of coal by Rita Widyasari's family.
Meanwhile, KMJ was questioned to confirm the alleged provision of quotas to Rita Widyasari and her family.
The case began when the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) named Kutai Kartanegara Regent Rita Widyasari, PT Sawit Golden Prima President Director Hery Susanto Gun, and PT Media Bangun Bersama Commissioner Khairudin as suspects in an alleged gratification case on September 28, 2017.
In this case, Rita is suspected of receiving gratuities related to the granting of a location permit for a palm oil plantation to PT Sawit Golden Prima in Kupang Baru Village, Muara Kaman District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) then developed the case and on January 16 2018 named Rita and Khairudin as suspects in the crime of money laundering.
