Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria revealed the government's strategy to create a healthy telecommunications (telco) industry climate, thereby accelerating the arrival of more 5G networks in Indonesia.
One of the things that can be done is to adjust the investment costs of industrial players to the current industrial conditions in society.
"We are trying to create a healthy environment and ecosystem by enforcing several regulations that address the conditions of the telecommunications industry. We are trying to reduce regulatory costs. We want to ensure the industry operates smoothly and maintains a healthy financial condition," Nezar said in a statement confirmed.
According to him, a healthy telecommunications industry is an important prerequisite for operators to continue investing in the development of new generation networks.
Therefore, the government is striving to introduce policies that provide certainty for industry while simultaneously accelerating national digital transformation.
