Janice learns lessons from Wimbledon debut, now focuses on doubles

Indonesian tennis player Janice Tjen has learned many lessons from her debut performance at Wimbledon 2026 and is now shifting her focus to her doubles match with Aldila Sutjiadi.

Despite failing to progress further in the singles event, the tennis player believes that his achievement in reaching the second round will be valuable preparation for future tournaments.

"There were many lessons to be learned from Wimbledon this time. I'm also happy to have advanced to the second round. Hopefully, I can take this and learn from it to become even better in the future," said Janice, as quoted by Wimbledon on Thursday.

Janice lost to Australian tennis player Daria Kasatkina in a three-set match 7-6(5), 1-6, 4-6 at the All England Club, London,  after having won the opening set via tie-break.
