The Ministry of Communication and Digital has completed all stages of selection for users of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz radio frequency bands for the implementation of mobile cellular networks in 2026.
"This process includes a price auction on July 7, 2026, and a radio frequency band block selection on July 8–10, 2026," the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs wrote in a statement.
Based on the results of the 700 MHz frequency band selection, PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk was ranked first with a frequency block allocation of 30 MHz (2x15 MHz) and a total bid value of IDR 1.06 trillion.
The second position was occupied by PT Telekomunikasi Selular which obtained a 20 MHz block (2x10 MHz) with a total bid value of IDR 642.5 billion, while PT Indosat Tbk was in third place with a 20 MHz block (2x10 MHz) and a bid value of IDR 507.48 billion.
