Samsung Electronics Indonesia is introducing a new artificial intelligence (AI)-based feature called My FanCam on its latest foldable smartphone series , the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Fold 8, and Fold 8 Ultra, which allows users to turn a single video recording into content that focuses on a single subject without having to re-record it.
Using a feature integrated into the Gallery app, users simply record the entire scene first. My FanCam will then automatically track the selected subject, adjust the video composition, and crop it to the desired aspect ratio, making the recording more ready to share on social media with minimal editing.
Head of MX Product Marketing Senior Manager Samsung Electronics Indonesia Ilham Indrawan said users no longer need to determine the camera focus during the recording process because adjustments can be made after the video is finished being recorded.
