The Palace has not yet received the Attorney General's proposal to replace Febrie as the Special Crimes Supervisor

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that his office has not yet received a proposal for the appointment of a new Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes  from Attorney General ST Burhanuddin.

Prasetyo explained that the appointment of Jampidsus officials was carried out by President Prabowo Subianto through a presidential decree  based on a proposal submitted by the Attorney General. According to him, the Keppres is necessary for the appointment of new Jampidsus officials.

"The mechanism is that the position is appointed and determined by the President through a Presidential Decree based on a proposal from the Attorney General, which we have not yet received," Prasetyo.

The Attorney General's proposal to appoint a new Jampidsus is to replace Febrie Adriansyah, who has resigned from the position.

Regarding Febrie's resignation from the position of Jampidsus, Prasetyo said the process did not require a Presidential Decree because the resignation was a personal decision of the official concerned to relinquish the position he held.

"Resignations certainly don't require a Presidential Decree, as they are a personal matter involving the individual resigning from their current position. Therefore, a Presidential Decree isn't required," he said.

Prasetyo said the mechanism for issuing the Presidential Decree only applies to the appointment of new officials who will occupy the position of Jampidsus.
