The Indonesian women's 3x3 basketball team will face the Women's Series Batam Stop 2026 at Alun-Alun Engku Putri, Batam, on July 23-24, armed with experience in the Xiantao Stop series in China on July 4-5.
"Thanks to the valuable lessons learned from Xiantao, we now know that the team is still far from the Women's Series standard, both physically, skill-wise, and tactically," said assistant coach of the Indonesian women's 3x3 basketball team, Andrie Ekayana.
The national team's participation in this event aims to improve their game and is part of their preparations for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan from September 19 to October 3.
Participation in a number of events can improve the quality of the team to be better.
"After the Batam Stop, there's still the Tokyo championship, and we hope to get one more series before heading to the 2026 Asian Games," said the coach, who is usually called Coach Yayan.
