Tomorrow, Prabowo will inaugurate prospective young officers at the Palace

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to inaugurate prospective young officers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces  and the Indonesian National Police  in the Prasetya Perwira ceremony at the Merdeka Palace.

Prasetyo stated that the number of prospective officers to be inaugurated is estimated at around 1,500. However, he added that this number will still be confirmed due to the increase in the number of students or cadets.

"Because there are changes, we will check later. If we are not mistaken, it is approximately 1,500. However, we will try to check again because there is an increase in the number of students or cadets," said Prasetyo.

On July 23 last year, President Prabowo inaugurated 2,000 cadets from the three military academy and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) as young officers of the TNI and Polri in the Prasetya Perwira (Praspa) ceremony in the courtyard of the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

Of the 2,000 junior officers inaugurated by President Prabowo today, 827 are junior officers of the Indonesian Army, 433 are junior officers of the Indonesian Navy, 293 are junior officers of the Indonesian Air Force, and 447 are junior officers of the Indonesian National Police.

At the ceremony, the best graduates who received the Adhi Makayasa were awarded rank insignia, then led the oath-taking procession for the young officers.
