The Central Board of the Indonesian Trail Running Association is sending 27 athletes to compete in the 2026 Southeast Asian Trail Running Championship which will be held on July 24-26, 2026 in the Mount Gede Pangrango area, Bogor, West Java.
The 27 athletes are the result of tiered coaching carried out by a number of ALTI Provincial Administrators , namely.
"We're sending our trail runners. We hope that because our fellow trail runners are familiar with the location and have mastered the course, they will excel by recording the best times," said ALTI Chairman Dr. Bima Arya Sugiarto in an official statement confirmed.
Bima Arya appreciated all ALTI provincial administrators who had carried out athlete development so that they produced trail running athletes who could compete in international events.
The head of the Indonesian National Trail Running Team contingent, Donny Gahral Adian, said the Indonesian contingent was already present at the race venue and had undergone an adaptation process.
"The athletes are all in top form . The categories they are competing in include vertical mountain classic , short, and long. I and all of us at PP ALTI hope that all athletes can give their best and bring honor to the nation in the SEATRC," explained the man familiarly known as Abah Donny.
