PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri has officially launched its newest direct international flight connecting Bali and Phuket, Thailand.
TransNusa Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Bernard Francis said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday that the opening of the new Denpasar route was carried out to encourage tourism growth in the region while strengthening Bali's position as one of TransNusa's international hubs.
"With the launch of this new route, TransNusa now operates four scheduled international flights from Bali, namely to Perth , Singapore, Guangzhou , and now Phuket ," said Datuk Bernard.
He added that the launch of this latest international flight further emphasizes TransNusa's vision to make Bali one of TransNusa's main international connectivity centers in Indonesia.
The launch of this route comes as demand for intra-regional travel increases, with more and more travelers seeking unique holiday experiences in Southeast Asia.
The Bali–Phuket route is expected to attract tourists, families, digital nomads, and adventure enthusiasts who want to enjoy the rich culture, cuisine, and unique attractions of both destinations.
"In addition to supporting the tourism sector, this new service is also expected to strengthen economic ties between Indonesia and Thailand by increasing business travel and strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries," explained Datuk Bernard.
Tickets for this route will be available for purchase starting July 3, 2026, through TransNusa's official website and various online travel agents.
