FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented US President Donald Trump with a gift of 10 tickets to the 2026 World Cup final.
According to the US President’s financial report, the total value of the tickets was $15,000, while current prices indicate that the cheapest tickets available for sale for the tournament final are around $12,000, while the most expensive are $42,000.
MetLife Stadium will host the final match of the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for July 19, as part of the tournament hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Trump had previously praised the tournament, comparing the World Cup to the Super Bowl, noting that it was setting records for audience attendance and television viewership, and he congratulated Infantino on the successful organization of the event.
