Indonesian racer Veda Ega Pratama admitted that he does not believe in the curse of Marc Marquez, or better known as the "Marquez curse" at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
The Marquez curse has become a hot topic online after the eight-time world champion failed to finish in the Indonesian MotoGP for four consecutive seasons.
The Spanish racer, who has been crowned the 2025 MotoGP world champion, was forced to retire after crashing into the gravel on the opening lap of the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP.
"Then people who think outside the box are more misleading... So it doesn't affect either of us," added the racer from Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta.
