West Java Governor appreciates Jakarta PTUN's dismissal of PLK lawsuit

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi expressed his appreciation for the Jakarta State Administrative Court  officially declaring the lawsuit of the Christian Lyceum Association  against the Directorate General of AHU at the Ministry of Law inadmissible  while also strengthening the legal status of SMAN 1 Bandung as a legitimate state asset.

The decision thwarted PLK's efforts to reclaim strategic land in the Dago 93 area of Bandung City, after the panel of judges assessed that the community organization had absolutely no legal standing to file a lawsuit.

"Yes, thank you, the judge has been objective so we can manage the school well and the children can rest easy," said Dedi Mulyadi in his statement in Bandung, Saturday, responding to the verdict.

The legal counsel for the Governor of West Java from the Special West Java Team, Jutek Bongso, explained that the PLK's defeat at the PTUN was authentic proof that the association was a banned organization whose legal status had been dissolved by the state.
