Saudi sports journalist Waleed Al-Faraj was quick to announce his new destination just hours after publishing news of his departure from the "MBC" network and his cessation of presenting his famous program "Action with Waleed".
Waleed Al-Faraj has officially joined the Rotana network of channels, which is supervised by Rotana Media Company, and is expected to present the program “Rotana Sport with Waleed” on Rotana Khalijia channel.
On Saturday evening, Al-Faraj wrote a tweet on his “X” platform account in which he thanked Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, owner of Rotana channels, who recently acquired most of the shares of the football company of Al-Hilal Saudi Club.
"We are entering a new phase with Rotana Group towards launching the 'Rotana Sport with Waleed' program on August 12th."
“All thanks to His Highness Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal for his support, trust and patronage, and to the management of Rotana and Rotana Khalijia channel for their warm welcome and hospitality since the signing of the contract.”
Waleed Al-Faraj is one of the most prominent names in Saudi sports media. He began his journalistic career before moving to television work and assuming several media positions, including managing ART Sport channels, before moving to the MBC Group, where he established his presence through popular sports programs, becoming one of the most prominent media figures in the Saudi sports scene. His official account on the "X" platform has around 6 million followers.
