Press reports have revealed the latest developments regarding the future of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, amid speculation linking him to more than one club since his departure from Liverpool.
Earlier, Mohamed Salah had reached an agreement with Besiktas to move to their ranks before everything fell apart due to the financial demands of his agent, Ramy Abbas.
Trabzonspor has entered the race to sign Mohamed Salah, with press reports confirming that there is a rapprochement between the two parties.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu stated on his X platform account that Trabzonspor officials held a meeting with Mohamed Salah's representative, during which the official offer was presented and the contract terms were discussed.
According to the Turkish journalist, the offer includes a two-season contract with an annual salary of 17 million euros as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its ranks with a high-profile signing before the start of the new season.
Sabuncuoglu added that Mohamed Salah’s agent requested a percentage ranging between 20 and 25% of the revenue from the player’s shirt sales, noting that negotiations are still ongoing regarding this clause, while Trabzonspor expressed its willingness to discuss it.
Turkish journalist Yakup Cinar also stated that the probability of Mohamed Salah joining Trabzonspor is 90%.
He explained that Mohamed Salah will undergo a medical examination in Istanbul next Wednesday or Thursday and will receive 20% of the profits from the sales of his shirt with Trabzonspor.
He reported that Trabzonspor signed a sponsorship agreement with a company to support the transfer of Mohamed Salah.
It is worth noting that Mohamed Salah ended his journey with Liverpool at the end of last season, after a journey that lasted nine seasons during which he achieved many individual and collective titles and achievements.
The name of the Egyptian national team captain has recently been linked to several clubs, including Besiktas, in addition to interest from Saudi league clubs, most notably Al-Ittihad.
