Persib Bandung attacking midfielder Beckham Putra hopes that last season's result against Manila Digger in the Asian Champions League Two play-off match will be repeated when the two teams meet in the play-offs of the same tournament.
In 2025/2026, Persib defeated Manila Digger last season with a score of 2-1, where Beckham contributed an assist for the winning goal scored by Uilliam Barros.
"We hope to win against Manila. Last season, we achieved a good result by beating Manila at home (in Bandung). Hopefully, we can repeat that and Persib can advance to the main round," Beckham said, as quoted on Persib's.
Persib will face Manila Diggers again at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung Regency. If they defeat Manila Diggers, the "Maung Bandung" squad will be placed in Group E of the group stage alongside Seoul FC, Melbourne Victory , and The Cong-Viettel.
On the same occasion, Beckham also revealed his team's readiness ahead of the match.
