Spanish star Lamine Djamel celebrated his 19th birthday in a special atmosphere, after an exceptional summer that saw him crowned with his national team the 2026 World Cup title.
According to the newspaper "El Español", the ceremony was held in a luxurious country house called "Mas de Sant Li" in the city of Vilanova del Vallès, a location usually used to host weddings and private events.
The guest list was limited to about 100 people, in a more private ceremony compared to Jamal's 18th birthday celebration last year, which was attended by more than 200 guests, including a number of Barcelona stars and celebrities.
The ceremony was attended by a group of Jamal’s colleagues at Barcelona, who were keen to share the celebration with their colleague after a remarkable season in which he strengthened his position as one of the most prominent young talents in world football.
Jamal celebrated his birthday on July 13, before continuing his journey with the Spanish national team in the 2026 World Cup, where he won the title, adding a new achievement to his career, after winning the 2024 European Championship with Spain.
After the end of his international career, the Barcelona star took a break, part of which he spent in Colombia, before returning to Spain and joining Barcelona's preparations for the new season.
Jamal is scheduled to begin training with the team, alongside his international teammates who returned in the last batch, in preparation for the upcoming season under coach Hansi Flick.
The player also made sure to express his solidarity with the Colombian people following the devastating earthquake that struck the country after he left, writing on his Instagram account: "Our best wishes and prayers to the Colombian people."
