The British Ministry of Defence announced that the United Kingdom will receive data collected from Ukrainian Armed Forces "Avengers" drones in combat zones.
Under the agreement, London will gain exclusive access to the database of the Ukrainian "Avenger AI Labs". The database contains millions of records collected by thousands of cameras and infrared sensors from the Ukrainian front, which will be used to train advanced military artificial intelligence models.
The British Prime Minister stressed that combining Ukrainian field data with British technical expertise will accelerate the development of defense capabilities that enhance national security and protect vital infrastructure.
The first pilot project in Britain is set to begin by converting buried fiber optic cables into smart motion-detection sensors near military bases, with plans to expand the application to protect airports, railways and power stations.
The collaboration also includes the development of energy-efficient artificial intelligence chips for drones and autonomous robotic systems, with the participation of British startups such as Sintela, Mind Foundry and Skyral, in exchange for Ukraine gaining access to British universities and research centers.
