Chef de Mission of the Indonesian Team for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Todotua Pasaribu has visited and identified the needs of 18 of the 35 sports that are projected to strengthen the Indonesian contingent at the Asian Games on September 19 to October 4.
"The principle is the same as in other sports. We meet with athletes and officials and then communicate about non-technical matters that we can coordinate and support," Todotua said in an official statement.
The visit was conducted to ensure the readiness of athletes, coaches, and officials, especially regarding non-technical needs before departure to Japan.
"We want to ensure that the athletes and officials are in the best possible condition from their departure, throughout their stay, and even after their return," he added.
The sports that Todotua has visited include surfing, rowing, athletics, karate, skateboarding, archery, wushu, basketball, hockey, rock climbing, sepak takraw, BMX, and weightlifting.
