The Indonesian Chef de Mission advance team has arrived in Nagoya, Japan, to finalize the contingent's various needs ahead of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
"Our advance team remains on-site and is coordinating with relevant parties. Nagoya presents its own challenges, including venues and transportation. Therefore, we want to ensure everything is prepared and coordinated before the contingent arrives," Todotua said in an official statement.
Indonesian Team CdM Todotua Pasaribu said the advance team coordinated directly with various related parties, especially regarding the match venue, transportation, and the contingent's needs while in Japan.
Arena and transportation issues are a major concern, given that the 2026 Asian Games will be spread across dozens of locations.
According to official data from the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games organizing committee, 53 venues have been prepared to host various sports. The venues will be spread not only across the Aichi and Nagoya regions but also across several other regions in Japan.
