The Central Executive Board of the All-Indonesia Basketball Association  is updating data on players, clubs, and other players through the Perbasi Database platform as part of its efforts to create a single, integrated national database for Indonesian basketball.

Head of the Database Division of the DPP Perbasi, Jamin Mattotoran, in Jakarta, Saturday, explained that based on the data that had been entered and verified, there were 1,424 clubs, 30,610 players, 2,883 coaches, 511 referees, 1,424 team officials, and 351 Perbasi cities/regencies registered on the platform.

"It is hoped that this data can strengthen performance management and serve as a primary reference in policy formulation and decision-making within Perbasi," he said.

He further explained that the verified data becomes part of Perbasi's official digital membership and can serve as an administrative basis for various organizational activities.

Jamin stated that the data collection was a strategic step to strengthen organizational governance.
