Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of Egyptian international Omar Marmoush to join their first team from Manchester City, on a one-season loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Tottenham's official account posted a picture of Marmoush on the "X" platform, saying: "We are pleased to announce the signing of Egyptian international striker Omar Marmoush on loan for one season."
Tottenham have agreed to acquire Marmoush on loan initially, with an obligation to buy the player permanently for £60 million, according to press reports.
The 27-year-old Marmoush arrives at Tottenham after nearly 18 months with Manchester City since his move from German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
During his time with the Sky Blues, the Egyptian international participated in 62 matches across various competitions, during which he scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists.
In his first season with Manchester City, he played 25 matches in all competitions, scoring 8 goals, and won the Premier League Goal of the Season award for his goal against Bournemouth in May 2025.
