Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, sent a touching message to Argentine star Lionel Messi, who was devastated by the death of his father and agent, Jorge Messi, at the age of 68.
Al-Sheikh posted a picture of himself with Lionel Messi on his official accounts, accompanied by a touching condolence message in Spanish, which reads: "I am very sorry, my brother Lionel, for the loss of your father. I send you my sincere condolences and wish you and your family strength and patience to get through this difficult time."
Jorge accompanied his son Lionel closely throughout his career, starting from his early years with Barcelona, and was a key support for him. For a few years, he also served as his agent.
Several clubs, including Real Madrid and Newell's Old Boys, the club where Lionel Messi began his career, along with the Argentine Football Association, offered their condolences to Messi and his family.
