The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that Messi received an inquiry from journalist Bruno Fain regarding Thiago's departure from Inter Miami, to which he replied: "No".
The press reports claiming that Thiago had joined Barcelona's academy caused overwhelming joy among the Catalan club's fans, as they recalled the legend who started his career at La Masia, before Messi shattered their joy.
