Persija has officially signed Swedish striker Alexander Jeremejeff to add firepower to the team's attack ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
"He's a pretty good striker . I think Alex's presence will solve the striker issue our fans have been asking about," Persija Jakarta coach Shin Tae-yong told the club's official website.
Alexander Jeremejeff has officially joined the Macan Kemayoran for the next two seasons. Standing 192 cm tall and with extensive experience in various European competitions, Alex brings new experience and ambition to enhance Persija's attacking capabilities.
Alex's professional career (nickname Alexander Jeremejeff) started with Orgryte in 2012 after being promoted from the junior team and then joining Qviding FIF (2013).
After that, Alex played for Hacken (2014–2016) before continuing his career with Malmö (2016–2018). He then returned to Hacken in 2019.
His career path then took Alex away from Sweden and the German competition atmosphere with Dynamo Dresden from 2019 to 2021. He was loaned to FC Twente in the Netherlands in 2020, but returned to strengthen Hacken and spent his second period with the club until 2023.
Alex's European legacy continued in Greece. He played for Panathinaikos in 2023 before being loaned to Levadiakos in 2023. He then continued his career with PAOK in 2026, eventually joining Persija.
