On Saturday, Palestinians escorted the body of Shalouf and her unborn child from Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis to their final resting place, days after she was injured inside her tent.
Ismail Abu Mashi, a relative of Shlouf, said that she was hit in the head by a bullet while inside the tent, before being transferred to Nasser Medical Complex.
He added that the fetus remained in its mother’s womb for 4 days after she was injured, before passing away, and then his mother died on the same day from her injuries.
In the same context, nine Palestinians were injured on Saturday in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a gathering of civilians near a tent sheltering displaced people in Mawasi Khan Younis.
Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone bombed a gathering of civilians near tents for displaced people, resulting in injuries and damage to a number of tents. A medical source said that the number of injured Palestinians had risen to 9, up from 4, all with varying injuries.
The Israeli attack comes amid continued violations by Tel Aviv of the ceasefire agreement, which has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

A number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far, according to the ministry.

In another development, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the main generator at the Arab National “Baptist” Hospital had stopped operating, amid a worsening fuel crisis and a shortage of spare parts and oils needed to run the generators, which threatens the continuation of a number of vital medical services.
The ministry warned of the repercussions of the energy crisis on the hospital's ability to continue providing its medical services, at a time when hospitals in the sector rely heavily on electric generators to operate their facilities.
The Palestinian “Al-Aqsa Net” channel website quoted Musa Ayad, the administrative coordinator of the Arab National Hospital, as saying that the main generator had been experiencing malfunctions since September 9, 2024, after it had been operating for long periods beyond its capacity, using the oils inside it, which led to accumulated mechanical malfunctions that ended with it stopping yesterday afternoon.
He added that the generator's shutdown led to the disruption of CT scan services, sterilization, and the oxygen station, in addition to other services and departments that depend on electrical power.
The hospital is currently operating with a smaller generator with a capacity of 70 KVA, in an attempt to provide a minimum level of medical services in light of the main generator's failure.
Ayad explained that the Arab National Hospital receives about 1,000 citizens daily, and provides them with services that include surgical operations, outpatient clinics, diagnostic departments, wound and burn care, in addition to physical and occupational therapy.
In addition to the casualties, most of whom were children and women, Israel destroyed about 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure in the sector, while the United Nations estimated the cost of reconstruction at about $70 billion.
